“This isn’t our first rodeo”

Operation Vet Fit, whose headquarters is located in the soon to be impacted area of Mount Pleasant, SC has already established direct communications and methods to ensure our veterans living in the impacted areas of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolina’s have the funds they need to obtain the crucial supplies that will be necessary to clean up and recover following Hurricane Ian ‘22 (Matthew ‘16, Florence ‘18, Dorian ‘19, Isaias ‘20).

“We know a thing or two, because we’ve seen a thing or two” Says Operation Vet Fit founder and director, US Marine, Dan Gaita. We’ve assisted our veterans living in the impacted communities during each of the last five named storms by providing them with direct donations, enabling our veterans to not only help themselves through the aftermath, but also help their neighbors and community.

While communities sometimes wait weeks or even months for their insurance providors to assess or cut checks for desperately needed supplies and clean-up, we get them the money they need right now. Since the timing of cleanup is so crucial in determining severity of long -term impacts caused by mold, bacteria and delay, we don’t wait on “State Farm” or “All State”, we help them get it done now. Because sometimes insurance companies are not the “good hands” they claim to be.
